Daily resets at like 10am can work. They did it in the past, surprised they don't do it now. And if you are really online you will get instantly back again at that time of the day.

I can defend their behavior because as I see it the fault lies with the people who failed to allocate adequate resources to the game. My schedule is remarkably free right now, as I'm working freelance from home and can play when I want as long as I meet deadlines. That said, I know a lot of people who've bought this game that have yet to be able to play it because they leave work at 5pm. Do I think them afk botting is totally cool? No, I think it's a flawed solution. But I also don't entirely blame them. As usual with any conflict of interests it isn't black and white (surprise!). What IS black and white to me is the relative futility and silliness of blaming one's fellow player for a problem they most certainly are not responsible for. As far as the analogy I used, it's just that; a loose comparison in terms of laying blame for the shortage of a finite resource. Given your proclivity to blame other disenfranchised customers, I'm not surprised you were tone-deaf to it. I'm sure you can find flaws there if you really want to but I don't really care. Have a great morning!excuse me? they arent there. they are AFK
they arent playing the game any more than the harvest bots, crafting bots or market bots are. its cheating, plain and simple. what they ARE doing is denying people who actually do want to get in and play, from doing that as soon as they could by being selfish and taking up a spot so they can avoid the queue while they are at work or having a nap or whatever. how can you defend such a selfish behaviour
and again.. what? if they didnt steal anything, why would you call them shoplifters?? the definition of shoplifting is literally STEALING SOMETHING

This is surprising , considering as a mod of the discussion subbredit , you think its ok to repeat post after post instead of contributing to what you had already created. Im sure if there were posts by the same reddit user, in the ffxivdiscussion subbreddit you mod for, saying the same thing over and over in repeated new posts about being disgruntled , whether understandably or not, the mods would remove them and probably give them a warning.
If you keep repeating the same talking points again and again by making new threads you get the opposite intended results of people ignoring you , the talking to a brick wall /boy cries wolf effect .
I already said I'm not making new threads. So, I feel your issue is already addressed.
Yes.
I mean I already played a game that did it and Windows and your phone are already spying on you, so what's the difference?
More witch hunts?
This isn't the way. Server resets or having GMs actually investigate would be measures that should be taken far, far before this is ever even considered. Not that it should ever be considered to begin with.

Why don't you simply report them, risk you own account and see what they say then. If you get told off for false reports then you have your answer stop going around trying to start a witch hunt and hate mob.
Then those GMs need to start invading peoples' houses and kicking with the ban stick.
Oh wait, they won't, because that takes effort.
