Not sure why this is an issue for some. Lit the only thing Hydaelyn (Venat) gave you was her Traveler's Ward (protection against aetheric corruption, which is what primal tempering is) and that one time she shielded you from the Ultima spell. Remember when Midgardsormr blocked Hydaelyn from you so you couldn't even speak to her? And you still pulled off great feats? Not to mention that time and time again throughout each expansion it's been said over and over how weak Hydaelyn must be getting, and we later learn why.

Everything else you've ever done was all you, including the Echo, which is just a natural ability the Ancients have.

EDIT: Azem (your) crystal can still summon others. As stated in game, that summoning spell was of your design, and all Hydaelyn placed on it was a special (temporary) one to be used right at the end to call Hyth and Emet to you. The original summoning magic still remains.
