    The heal is literally called the "Blessing of Light" so clearly it didn't *just* protect us from aether corruption, even if that was the main purpose of it. That much is also explained in the msq.

    I think the Warrior of light became a god after beating Hydaelyn and Zodiark. Now have to protect the universe to.
