Pretty sure its shown when fordola has those visions that they happen in a instant, so it's not like we're just standing there for minutes or anything

We are still the WOL. The only thing that is going to change is what plot we're going into next. How big or small it is we don't know yet. And another point... we never stopped being adventurers. :/

I mean Emett entrusted us to to continue to travel the world and meet its myriads civilizations. Its also Azems personality to indentify potential threats to our star and eliminate them. So we probably have lots of things to do with future threats as the plot demands it.

This isn't exactly true, there have been many solo challenges where we, the player, are about to lose when she refreshes our bars completely to keep going, or just shields us from outside powers. This "power" was what originally earned us the "Warrior of Light" title, not just because we couldn't be tempered. Like for instance when Igeyorhm suspends us in the air with her magic to steal away the key to Azusa Lla, we are only able to resist because we gained back a portion of our blessing. Yes, we've become formidable warriors in our own right by this point, but we would have been wiped out long time ago if it weren't for Hydaelyn.

What? Hydaelyn isn't "refreshing our bars"? Not sure where you ever got that from. It's clearly meant as a representation of our will power winning out in desperate situations, else it would have been mentioned somewhere, come on.

So after seven calamties / rejoinings we'd be 8/14 then add Ardbert for 9/14?

What's confusing about it? You on the Source are the "origin point" (so 0, think of it like on a graph), which is not a rejoining, because again, that is the point of origin. Each of the other worlds rejoining during calamities adds +1. Hence 8/14.

To make it a bit clearer: on a line graph, you start at 0, the point of origin. Going along the Y or X axis from 0 to 14 doesn't give you 15, it still just gives you 14 because you started from the point of origin, which is always 0, not 1.

That's... not how that works, and also Emet can clearly tell as much, since he says "7 times rejoined." But I'll concede. Maybe a lack of sleep is just getting to me.

Nah, I wasn't thinking in terms of that. I just don't count the Source because that's where we start, but looking at it again it would be more like 8/13, because you could still get 14 worlds from that. I was talking in terms of rejoinings, not implying the Source people don't have a soul. :P Hard to organize thoughts when you're an insomniac.

That logic would track if the source were just empty with nobody on it, but it's not, so it's 1.

However you could say that we've been rejoined 8 times, but the soul exists at 9/14

By Ascian standards we're 2/3 of a whole person, yay!
