    Doors make no sound

    Well its not a very important issue. But I noticed that on both of my PCs doors and elevators stopped making noise when I use them. Someone else noticed?

    I noticed this in Nawana. Can't say I noticed in the cities. But could be wrong.

    I don't think I've heard them make noise in a while. But then, it would just be another thing they took out of the game discretely for their own reasons. I really miss how, when you went outside after being inside, you were blinded by the light for a second (hasn't been in the game since pre Yoshi-P). My guess is that that visual effect was probably pretty taxing for a fairly small benefit.

    <_< NPCs keep the hinges well lubricated so the doors don't make a sound. But ya I can see where the above post is getting at it most likely is the case. Such as I wonder if perhaps the issue with MW crashing may be caused by the fact that retainers can have different appearances because of the "visual" model to show off what the NPC is selling. Since adding that visual bazaar model causes the instance to have to load in more data, and with the already overcrowded MW in certain area -cough-ulda-cough-. It would probably be a good idea if they removed that feature sometime in the future, since the concept itself was only created to make it easier to sell things since something like a search function wasn't even in the works at the time.

    when Barded Chocobo's walk into water the Splash sfx is not played and the doors don't make sounds. ive only found those 2 there could be more.

    On foot or on chocobo, running through the water in the dark shroud makes no sound either and it looks like you run on top the water not through it

    hard to tell when my sound is muted anyway


    maybe the mobs keep the doors well oiled...

    really want the light thing back too, it was so awesome.. hopefully it will be on 2.0
