AST Astrodyne Harmony of Body Effect: What does it actually do?

"Reduces spell cast time and recast time, and auto-attack delay by 10%"

My observation is that:
all recast times are comepletely uneffected and remain the same.
all spell cast times are completely uneffected and remain the same.
Auto-attack delay I haven't observed because turning on auto-attack is like the very last priorty of a healer... whap 11... whap 12... whap 12... whap 11... whap 17!

So what does Harmony of the Body actually do?

Harmony of Body reduces my Cast time from 1.46s to 1.32s Recast from 2.44s to 2.20s, so it looks like it does what it advertises.



Did you move your mouse off of the spell and back onto it to see the updated Action Help or did you leave your mouse over the spell expecting it to update in real time? Our Action Help display might just not be as sophisticated as you were expecting.

No I activated it, then cast pretty much every spell I have and then observed the cooldowns uneffected.

It doesn’t affect abilities, only spells and auto attacks. In order to get the most out of it you basically just spam Malefic. Its effect is more pronounced on Raises.

It only affects Spells--generally speaking, the actions that are on the GCD.

If the only use is to reduce spell cast time, then don't write "Reduces spell cast time AND recast time" !

If you read up to the last sentence of the tooltip, it tells you that the action does not share recast timer with any other actions. You can guarantee any other actions that has this description will not be affected by this sort of 'Haste' buff. They could've used a better wording, but it's not a scam.

From what I gather, Astrodyne basically gives personal versions of The Ewer, The Arrow and The Balance (except it affects heals too). I figure maybe this is the best way to think of them? At least if you've played AST prior to Shadowbringers when The Ewer, The Balance and The Arrow had different effects.
