Will there ever be true raiding content in FF14?

No, Shadowlands story sucks, there is a reason i began playing FF14 (I began before the Asmongold craze), and i liked FF14 story, but i already finished it, now what ?, it need gear and replayable endgame content.

You are making it sound just as 14 has some aspects i dont like or needs improving, it is unplayable (for me), the same you do with Wow...

Wow current story sucks, but it doesnt mean the game has some nice aspects. Dare i say even better than ff14, lets begin with one that its pretty much 100% agreeable without contemption.

The transmog system is 100% better than the glamour system. No deny here, agree ?

Ok, but what about more contemption ones, like pvp ?. Does it really not merit at least discussion ?, its erronous to think that you are in your bubble and somehow 14 cant improve.

If meant in the sense of "an experience that feels like a raid upon an enemy area", it's more likely an average of previous/traditional definitions rather than something carried over from any one particular game.

I think the Negative Nancys in this thread should go watch the NoClip docuseries, especially the episode where Yoshi-P took several months off to play WoW and other MMOs to get ideas for the ARR rework. If it weren't for WoW and those other MMOs we wouldn't have the game we have today thus I don't recognize the issue people claim to have with XIV borrowing ideas from other games. XIV was a WoW clone from the very beginning.

Never looked never bothered for me gear is what I think looks good most of gear I Galmour anyway , my WHM will always have his Cleric Glamour set regardless, sentimental value I suppose .Never cared much about raid progression also, I enjoy pugging and knowing different people that’s what I call MMO not the ChaLLange but that’s me,. Again I liked it more when ff14 wasn’t as mainstream as it is today but knowing yoshi p I think he knows his audience and won’t change much, that’s what I am hopping and praying.

The extremes that I clear with pugs are my biggest source of pleasure and pugging trials as my PLD and leading the team to victory. I helped at least 2 groups in First EW trial I just asked them to follow me and the pleasure and happiness I get when I unblock people so they can continue the STORY is what keep me playing this game.

Makes a comment - is proven wrong- then goes on about how he liked he game better before the game went "mainstream" - even though nothing the dev team does has changed with the increase popularity.. classic

actually - combing through this guys posts.. he just hates wow a lot.. for some reason.
WoW players hate wow.. and somehow this guy hates it more.

Exactly, this kind of toxicity is also on WOW, if an idea is good, it is good period. Doesnt matter from where it comes from.

It may not be good to implement in certain cases, but at least debate it and argument it.... Just dont say "we dont want a wow clone"...
