We have lots of dungeons which are similar to raids in WoW! You have to kill packs of trash mobs before reaching a boss and there are three bosses each with their own mechanics. The first one unlocks around lv 14 and there is a new one every few levels after that
That is not 99.8th percentile. I think your train does not have enough teal, certainly not sufficient to razzle and dazzle me.
Anyways, I encourage you to give this game's raids a serious shot and engage with it with an open mind instead of dismissing it. Who knows, maybe you'll become the next world first raider in this game. But as of right now you saying this game does not require skill is weird.

Not if you're looking at the aggregate. That takes into account immerseus and galakras, which were terrible for any meaningful parsing. You would know this if you played at the time.
At no point did I say this game takes no skill, nor what I was even talking about.

You can make fights that reward mechanics over gear...
But gear NEEDS to be useful, it needs to matter, else there is no incentive..
I want to feel im getting more powerful, but also that, the power is great to achieve better and bigger things
Excuses. I know enough about how that site works to know that a 850 ASP is vanishingly unlikely to be in the top 0.2%.
And don't be coy with me. You have explicitly stated that this game is not anymore skill-based than other MMOs. Given your attitude, it doesn't take much of a leap to deduce that you're obviously suggesting that this game is easier than WoW, given your dismissive characterization of the game.
I don't care if FF14 is indeed easier than WoW or harder. What I have issues with is someone who barely did any raiding in this game and have no chops to prove that they're at a level where they can conclusively even say that FF14 is not harder than WoW. You will of course reach that conclusion if you never even touched an entire tier of Savage and have finished Mythic.
Please go clear an Ultimate on-patch before commenting on this any further.

It is useful, for a time. It doesn't stay useful forever but that's by design because new MSQ comes out where we all have to be on an even keel. Those older MMOs let that gear gap grow and grow and grow until even solo content was out of the range of the soloers because those with raid gear complained it was too easy for them. We have the best solution in this game where at certain points we all get equalized again so we can work up to the temporary boost if we so choose until the next equalization point.
Evidently you don't understand how ASP works. Unless you're trying to suggest an 850 ASP is competitive when the top warriors are closing on 1200 ASP in the tier you linked? It's too bad that you're apparently not highly ranked enough for wclogs to bother tracking your exact rank, so I can't determine whether you have an orange or purple ranks - neither of which are 99.8+.
OP needs to go try progressing Vet HM Sunspire for 7 months in ESO, where dps is measured in fractions of seconds, FRACTIONS of seconds, not this 2 second cooldown system FF14 has. And get back to us lol.
