Lobby Login Issue?

It seems like the only people who were actively booted were those who were in a dungeon or cutscene. Maybe it's the instance servers that took a dump? I've just been fishing, and still am as I type this.

I don't think so, I just came back from work and was greeted with this error.

NOPE, I have been in queue for 4 hours, and got Authentication Error 5003 and can't get back in.

Some further investigation tells me that Microsoft Azure went down at the same time, which is a service you can use to manage logins among other things. That must be how they are handling logins and why it went down probably.
