Is Leveling Roulette (and other Roulettes) giving subpar EXP as opposed to before?

Lvl 80 value: 2.2 Million out of 6 million for level. That's 36.66% of a level. A level appropriate dungeon would give you approx 33% of your next level.

So you're doing possibly outdated, synced content for maybe 3% extra exp? Also, Leveling Roulette, before Endwalker, would give more than that. Almost 50% of a level.

MSQ? Approximately 50% of a level for Prae as opposed to ~75% of a level. Castrum gave 1.8 million at lvl 80. That's less than leveling roulette.

Normal Raid Roulette gave a measly 225K at lvl 80. THAT IS LESS THAN A FATE.

Something is off with every single roulette experience value.

I'd ask you if you have proof. Im not doing MSQ just to check exp and i don't remember how much i got. I just know i did it for poetics. The only thing i do know is that just doing the endwalker msq as a fresh 80 is enough to hit 90. The exp might be off balance for everything else

Once you get into the last 10 levels for a job, the percentage of XP earned toward your next level from a roulette has always dropped dramatically. It would be about 25-30% for Castrum and 40-50% for Praetorium. Sounds like that didn't change. Leveling roulette I can't say because I wouldn't use it as often so never paid attention, and the other roulettes I wouldn't use for leveling unless I was keeping a friend company.

The armory bonus (for leveling a job lower than your highest level job) also takes a dive from 100% to 50% when you hit 80. It would make sense for roulettes to have the same decrease.

While it does feel like less, level 80 I noticed is just especially cursed. The values get slightly better when you're 81+ for whatever reason. I booked and leveled all jobs from 70-80 for ShB in like 4 weeks off of dailies alone so it's definitely noticeably slower given I'm only like 4 jobs at 90 atm.

x0-x1 is always cursed when you don't have MSQ to push you through (on combat jobs.) You're excited to get to the next expansion content, but the only stuff available is comparatively slow old-expansion content.

Overcoming boredom for expansion entry level to +1... Praetorium(if the roulette tosses you into) always worked for me.

I did a leveling roulette last night at 82 and had the same experience. Fates is the fastest way to grind levels rn imo, especially with the large groups of people that are currently doing them. No queue times and fast returns. As long as the surged population holds and dungeon queues are congested it's probably your best option if you ask me.

The bonus for a Frontline Roulette is generally more significant than a leveling roulette, and it feels like a bargain in time spent.

Getting a level relevant dungeon for leveling roulette and barely getting 40% of a level definitely feels like a slap in the face.

That's what I got when I ended up in the lvl81 dungeon at lvl81 a few days ago.

Also, I'm quitting every single time I get Castrum. I don't care about the penalty, Castrum is just not worth it compared to Praet.

Frontline roulette definitely is juicy though.
