In queue for two hours, in game for 3 minutes, random disconnect, back at 5000.

No internet failure, just errored out inexplicably. This situation doesn't seem to be improving too notably. I know these threads are repetitive and numerous but I'll be damned if I don't need to vent after this. Now I can either just not do pre raid gearing with my friends or sit it out again. Pretty much a trash experience.

Yup, just happened to me. Was dealing with my retainer, and boom ! 90006 error. Now back into a 1600 person queue, which will probably take me another hour or so to get into this freaking game because of the afk botters sitting in their houses using up server space.. gg se

I just bought ffxiv a couple days ago. I was waiting in queue that was over 5,400. I had ffxiv running in the background while I play another game. Over 6 hours go by, I'm finally under 100 in queue. So I close my other game and watch a video on my phone waiting to finally get in the game. Then an 'unexpected error' popped up and closed my client.... So I log back in, back into a 4,700 queue. I go back to playing my other game. 3 hours in, I see ffxiv had an connection error' and closed again. Not my internet, everything else runs just fine. I want a damn refund....

Just happened to me. 90006 error, was in a cutscene. Disconnected for less than 1 minute in all, back into a queue of 5000. This is the second time it's happened today.

yep got in earlier today hour later got error got punted and hello peak time.. queue 1700 error 2002 now queue 2500@.... and you guessed it another 2002 omg woot kept my space in queue left room to get drink came back to another 2002 error and now 4000 in queue its been 3 hours now and my queue is finally down to 3500... and still not in at the time of this post.

Might be more useful if you provided your internet service providers name and what time zone you are in. Maybe you all would find a common theme, try a tracert, to see if any of your internet hops are experiencing issues

It's happened to me all the time. For some reason, either in queued or in-game, I noticed when an influx of a large number of players queue, I get booted every time. Not complaining, just saying it happen all the time.

Same. I am now a Warrior of Queuewalker, max cap. This whole experience has brought me to my knees everyday, and knowing that NTT constantly gets loss% everyday for god knows how long is even more infuriating.

Same happened to me. Yesterday I got a error 2002, then tryed to get back in the queue, to my surprise, I ended up at the end of the line, I just gave up on playing. Today, login normally, but after doing a dungeon, the game just closed, back on the queue again, not even a minute in the game, he just close again. This is boring, I come home from work wanting to play a little, paying sub to not be able to play is already over the limit.

What baffles me is a company of this size leaving this happening for so long, and I'm not even talking about the queue, just solving the errors, is it really that hard?
