100% agree that they should do more to boost their servers. The game has grown significantly since its debut, but they have hardly done much to reinforce the growth (that they've anticipated, mind you). Likewise, they still have policies and features in place that haven't been touched since 1.0. I talk about some of these issues with in game features regarding the blacklist "system" (because how can you call it that when the system fails to be useful).
That being said, I love the new expansion and I think it is certainly the best one they've done yet. The new locations are truly beautiful! I just wish I was able to actually enjoy it without prolonged que times and enabled harassment via poor privacy/player features.

Agreed, its not like we cant see their characters on their profile either if necessery, ignoring their "main" on display".
I understand that they want to play, we all do. But those at lvl 90 why? ure far ahead than a large amount of ppl which cannot play.

Hmm, my SMN is 90 yet I'm only at the 86 dungeons for endwalker. Maybe job level and actual in game progress aren't the same.

But you are right, I've played during the weekend by logging in early in the morning and not logging out again until late that evening. No botting, less than 30nins AFK to eat something. Very unhealthy way to game which I'm not doing anymore. I can't play during my normal work week because I'll get in the queue right after work, do some chores, come back to 2002, and give up for the night. I've tried wired connection and VPNs but nothing is fixing getting booted in the middle of a queue and I'm not going to seat for hours to babysit my queue because again, very unhealthy way to game.

So yea, as the thread said SE FAILED.

Yes they failed badly, yesterdays "apology" clearly indicate the full truth has not been said at all, they did not even care about the NA or EU servers considering they had not even considered adding servers to these datacenters before this congestion, now obviously the "semiconductor shortage" is no longer the key issue but instead they just start planning for expanding those regions.

Personally I had enough of it now, first of all 14 additional days of "free game time" will be given to those subscribed at the 21st of december- well guess what I've been able to play about 3 hours total since endwalker was released, I'm unsubscribing and will never touch another Square Enix title, same story for every game they release they don't give a crap about maintaining the titles once the money been collected.
