When are you going to fix the RANDOM DISCONNECTS?

Once again, twice today and 8 times in the last 5 days I have been disconnected for no reason back to the lobby, said my character was no logged out and wait. 20 seconds later I go to the BACK OF THE LINE of the QUEUE of 2,500 people.

FIX YOUR DANG GAME. This is stupid, I shouldn't be disconnected and I shouldn't have to go back in line only being kicked for around 40-50 seconds.

Just happened to me two minutes ago. Sat through the queue, made it, was going to try to finish MSQ with my friends today. Another friend asked for help with a duty, joined it, got a 90002 or 90006 error immediately, back to the end of the queue.

Someone on reddit did an analysis of the network data being sent to SE's servers.
The client just quietly terminates the connection every 15 minutes and immediately makes one single attempt to reconnect. If that attempt fails, it'll CTD.

That's just the lobby connection, and that may not even be right lol.

I havent had a single disconnect once in game the entire release period, and I took the first week off, and also have logged in during peak congestion.

It's weird how much you want to make every error the player's fault.

Well with the 90k errors, it would have to happen to everyone at the same time for it to be an issue with the server wouldn't it? If it is only a small minority, it is more likely to be something with their ISP, especially if they are in the US because US ISP's are trash. That being said, you do have a point in not ruling out a problem on SE end; you just can't rule out something on the ISP side either.

??? If I never had a 90k in years of playing before Endwalker launch, and since then have had a ton... doesn't it stand to reason that the issue is due to the server overload?

No, actually.

If everyone gets a 90k at the same time, it definitely means the issue is on the server side. (This actually happened to Primal only a few days ago -- the bulk of the instance servers crashed all at once, so everyone in a duty at the time across the datacenter got 90k'd simultaneously. And then we were stuck in limbo for two hours.)

But 90k's happening that aren't simultaneous and universal doesn't rule out the possibility of it being a server-side issue. To use mathematical logic statements, "If A then B" doesn't necessarily imply "If not A then not B". Or, to put it another way "absence of proof is not proof of absence."

I personally suspect the 90k issue is caused by a variety of things, and some may be player-side and some may be server-side, so anyone trying to track down a single cause for 90k's is going to be frustrated and disappointed.

No, but it's also weird how everyone doesn't understand how the internet works and blames the servers for literally everything.

WiFi is terrible for gaming. It causes tons off issues, and every friend I've had who dc'd on wifi stopped as soon as they moved to a wired/powerline adapter for wired connection.

It's a proven fact.

Plus, US internet infrastructure is terrible, and "my internet is fine" is not how the internet works.
