Is 7 days extended playtime sufficient ?

Hi,

I appreciate there are difficult challenges facing SE right now.
But I really cant login when there are 4 hour queues every day.

I feel from an ethical perspective, SE shouldn't continue to take our money whilst we cannot play the game. Does anyone else feel the game should be free until the login queues become more manageable? I was happy with 7 days until I realised the problem will take much longer to fix. I've not been able to have a successful login this past week at all.

The seven days is just the initial compensation. The compensation announcement stated that additional compensation can be given out if the situation continues as is. They have to clear it with higher ups whenever they want to give more compensation though, that's usually the case for these sort of things (red tape is thick). More days should definitely be added though.

At this point, as we roll into week two, my feeling is that more than seven days is going to be needed.

I have a feeling we won't see any more compensation since JP doesn't have a problem. Either that or they're trying to figure out how to compensate NA and EU players without compensating JP players, but the former seems more likely.

No, 7 days isn't enough compensation, trying to get onto this game during off-work prime time hours is near impossible, if I even manage to end up in game it's too late to do anything, saying that I actually got home slightly earlier today and hopped into queue straight away, heard no notification that I'd got in-game and then suddenly heard the trailer music playing again...always brilliant to get disconnected so quickly you don't even have chance to realise you've managed to get in after waiting for 4 hours.

More compensation is needed. Still can't log in and get any play time as I have a job during normal business hours on the East Coast of the US.

It's tricky since while some people haven't been able to log in at all, others have been in every day. Not only that but even if someone like Yoshida wants to offer more, he has to get that cleared by people higher up in the company than he is, I'm sure. People who are focused on the bottom line of what the game is bringing in in revenue, and may well be weighing out how many people will really leave the game or unsubscribe over this versus how many of those people will stay if they offer nothing.

It's not what anyone wants to hear, I'm sure. But the people at the top are only going to let them offer the bare minumum to keep people placated.

Adding game days is moot since players wont be able to reap that reward if their lives literally are incompatible with 3 hours of waiting (and more). Only system thatd be fair is giving a whole month to use when we're back like a game time card but idk how that could be distributed.

It's irresponsible and unethical to take money and gatekeep it this hard. Global shortage or not this service would not pass under BBB regulations. They made the bed they need to fix it or lose millions.

MHW didn't pony out for servers and deleted lost millions in returns and percent rating went from 90% to sub 45%. NA votes with their wallet and they might learn a lesson shortage be damned.

I believe that the game is still growing and that this problem is going to persist if not get worse. If this is really the case, then I do not believe they can justify charging a subscription, especially to players whose only playtime is during peak queue hours. They need to pause charging for subscriptions until the queues die down or until they are able to increase capacity, whichever comes first. Otherwise, I believe they will lose a lot of players. Maybe some players will return later, but many will simply move on. Fortunately, I am often able to play during non-peak times, but that is not the case for most players.
