FFXIV x Marvel Crossover Event Suggestion

Like seriously. I just made that up and I bet the devs could do even better. With Marvel and Square Enix working together the time has never been more ripe for a crossover. We've had Garo, Yokai Watch, and many more. It is not impossible. It also wouldn't be held up in copyright hell as long as they consulted with Sony on Spider-Man, which might not actually be a problem. Sony and Square Enix have deep ties.

I just really want to see this happen while we have the potential for it. It would be the ultimate of all crossovers.

Yet we still had Yokai Watch, Garo, ALMOST power rangers, FFXI, FFXIII, FFXV, and even Dragon Quest.

1) 4 of those above are Square Enix properties.
2) Yoshida is personal friends with the Yokai Watch guy. It was more “for the lols”.
3) GARO is a famous Japanese thing that collaborates cheaply and easily with a lot of things.
4) If anything Disney related were to collab with FFXIV, it would undoubtedly be Kingdom Hearts before anything else.
5) The Nier collab was very negatively accepted, to the point they essentially shut down in game major collaborations to instead do in-game lore related raids (Pandemonium and the series related to the 12 gods).

I won’t say never, but 99% sure the avengers will not be a thing.

I'll be honest I LOVED the Nier Raids, but I think crossovering was too far in the raids. I'm happy to see them, but I want it to be a separate optional quest. I would like more effort into the crossovers. What if they made them voiced? That would be neat.

They would never directly say that because they want both brands to succeed, but off all the collaborations it has been the most controversial.

If it had been a huge success, they obviously would have done another (a la Dragonquest) because it’s just easier to draw from pre existing content than to have to design content entirely from scratch.

Case and point, Ivalice was well received in 4.0, so they did Nier in 5.0.
