    South American based server-localization?!

The south american population was massive already in FFXIV, and increased even more this year.
If you guys will need to increase the server capacity, it´s time SE show some love to us. We already having to play with 160+ ping in a daily basis and with this queue is adding insult to injury because 2002 error over here with packet loss is almost certain!
We are paying just like everyone, have thousand of guilds all over the servers AND have almost an entire server populated by south american players.
Im asking for localization to other languages too, but im almost losing hope in this front and i´m content enough with just the server situation improved.

Localization happens based off of a simple formula:

If (current revenue + expected revenue increase due to localization) > Cost to localize, then localization happens. There's some profit margin to meet before localization happens, of course; they're obviously not going to localize if the expected profits are just a few thousand dollars.

Rest assured, there's someone at SE who has the responsibility of preparing a weekly or monthly or quarterly report of, say, the top 20 candidates for localization, and the profits to be expected if that localization goes ahead. I mean, logically, this is something SE would do. If I can think of this just responding to a random forum post, they've already thought of it years ago. Shoot, almost four decades ago to be honest. Anyone interested in larger profits will be watching opportunities to make said profits, and that goes for a NES cartridge from 1986 or an MMO from 2021 - that's just good business practice.

So, unfortunately, all you can do is wait, and cross your fingers that your region or country is near the top of the list.

    Good luck, though!
