Because the chip shortage in the automotive industry is well documented? Nobody is saying "Well I wouldnt expect to get a car I paid for right now either!" they're saying "News reports from multiple companies, sometimes in different industries, confirm what Square are saying about it being difficult to get new servers."

By all means be angry at Square if you want, but if you want to deny the existence of a well documented semiconductor shortage then you're doing yourself a massive disservice by denying reality.

I work at a Toyota Dealership - specifically the rental side. Our new car lot used to be packed with vehicles, Now it's basically vacant. Any new cars are sold before they even get delivered here. And for ordering new vehicles for our rental fleet we can barely order anything new because of this problem.

Funny you should say that... Cause I know quite a few people that have paid for cars and aren't getting them till sometime next year due to the shortage. (You learn these things when you're actually part of car clubs.)

Actually, I just went through this before Endwalker dropped, just got a new car lmao. It took a few months of searching since there's so little to choose from. Also had to pay $200 to have one delivered in from another state since we picked a model, but it just wasnt available at all here. I had two options. Complain, stomp my feet, and tell them I shouldnt HAVE to pay extra when I'm ALREADY paying $35k and how with all this money I'm paying, I certainly shouldnt HAVE to wait WEEKS for it to get here or just shut up and wait patiently for the car I wanted. I shut up, because either I was stuck with an old car for a few more weeks while I waited or I was stuck with it until covid ends which is when?????? Do you really think all these shortage issues are going to end in under a year? What, should SE have delayed Endwalker until covid ended?

I'm really gonna need someone of you to actually think a little harder please, I don't feel like I'm asking for much.
