I don’t think this discounts other people’s experiences and I wouldn’t call this pettiness. This situation might be complex and not really anyone’s fault but people having a bad experience do have a reason to be upset.

I can't raid yesterday. I ate 2 aoe due to lag spike and saw party members "teleporting" . I thought server was overloading. I went on and spam regen on myself. There was some random lag spikes. I browsed the internet and the lag spike was still there. I've concluded my internet has issues instead of looking for for SE. Time to check with my ISP.

I understand OP frustration.
What i cant understand are some saying that have a lot of money can fix everything in the world. Cut all threes and drain all water to a point that there's no place to find it, money doesn't matter if you cant find anywhere what you need or spend money on.
You know 1 one reasons making semiconductor short? More people using PC at home, today there's much more people buying PC, in a way that manufactures never seen before, not just pc, but cellphones etc. The demand of Tec today its huge. Add the pandemic, with financial crisis everywhere, some loosing jobs, a small company cant succeed if there no one to work on it. Those who never thought about creating a busyness in the web, are learning how do so, so more demand of TEC and Internet.
We are here complaining about games and consoles, but at hospitals many equipment's also use these semiconductors. Whos knows if hospital need replace one with these, and i bet wont be easy.

Wouldn't be a shortage if the plants didn't close down but they did it anyway. Not like it's essential or anything to have semi conductors
I mean yes if it isnt worthwhile to you (money), playable at all (enjoyment) or you cant deal with the queue just as everyone else does (time), leaving works out for you. Did you need to tell the word of your actions, nope but we re all humans who want attention afterall
Don't assume the people who've been playing are 'jobless' and have no family responsibilities just because they have different hours than you. Also some servers/data centers have smaller queues than others so they end up not having to wait quite as long to get in since they happen to not be on the most crowded servers.
No but I do think it is, at least the majority. I wish I had the luxury of having a full day off or consecutive days off or even returning home from work. The fact that I can still have a experience with my few days on and people give up after one 2002 error and badmouthing the game is petty. And I’m no white knight nor privileged to have clean experiences but I’m keenly aware of the state of the world and the games massive base
