    Don´t defend this mess!
    Rofl.

    I'm not 'defending' it.

I've had PLENTY of login queue errors, and even stated "barring login queue errors".

I'm simply stating that a 4k queue doesn't equate to "my entire evening is gone, I can't play ever". Because it doesn't.

If you get kicked a lot, ok. I get it. But I also think people are acting like their entire lives are over because they can't login to a damn video game (and they are).

It sucks being kicked to the back of the line, it's happened to me plenty. I even got kicked from a Duty I waited 45 mins to queue. It happens. There's nothing about what I've said that's defending anything. Just that I think some people are screaming like children and over-exaggerating a bit over again, a video game.

If you want to unsub, do it, speak with your wallet. I've quit a rather large amount of random MMO's due to this, and some not so random ones that just tanked at launch. Can't remember a single time coming to forums to announce my departure. The company sees you unsubbed, posting about it stomping your feet doesn't add anything at all. Especially when the entire front page looks like an echo chamber.

But there's no fix for the internet's all consuming rage and need to scream about it constantly. People act like Square isn't aware this is an issue. Lol.

Dude, ya, sorry, I have a life. And the fact that I have to choose between my workout time and this game now because of their lack of desire to fix the issue is really silly. Whatever, tease me all you want, fanboy to your hearts desire while square laughs at you while counting their stacks of cash.

I think you are being a little bit too bloody pretentious.
People have families and people have kids and a lot of responsibilities.
For a regular person that wants to come back home after a job and simply play a few hours, it's absolute undoable with the current disconnect situation and the login queues.
So maybe you're a person that can sit and watch a computer screen for the 3 hours while you're in the wait queue, but for many normal people, that's not normal and neither should it be.
So please, kindly step off your high horse with your "I don't believe it's that bad" judgmental statements.
This stuff doesn't impact me, but I've seen the queue lengths if I wait just a bit extra between the time I sign off from my work machine in my home office and log on to my game machine. An hour can make the difference between playing during normal times or playing the game after 10:00 pm.

I'm not going to tease you at all. I think having to juggle things that are important to you can be a strain, for sure.

I'm sympathetic to the login issues for sure, I mean, I deal with them.

I will however, continue to have absolutely no life (not counting my wife, two daughters, two cats, bills, the millions of other life stressors from all of the previous things, etc), and just navigate these issues until SE fixes the issues instead.

All of these assumptions that me, and people like me, just live in a basement with zero responsibility, glued to our computer chairs like the South Park guy in the WoW episode, is....hilarious.

Any other company would be roasted for this situation. So many people on this forum line up to happily take it though.

You could have easily left it at the first two sentences and avoided all this bickering. Instead you chose to cast doubt on a person expressing their frustrations, which resonates with the experience of many others, and make little of the situation, hence the reason for all this back and forth.

Must have missed the past oh....20 plus MMO and MMO expansion pack launches then eh? First time?

People aren't lining up to "happily take it". We've just been through this before, and it gets better....lol. You guys act like the game will remain this way forever, and it's been 6 months.

    IT'S BEEN A WEEK!

It's called being a rational, calm person and just chilling out about it. No one is saying "oh please SE, please more".

And the OP could have just unsubbed and called it a day instead of coming here basically asking for a back and forth. So yes, I chose to cast doubt because the post was a bit on the over-dramatic side. Or did I miss something?

If anyone was around for the launch of WoW 1.0 , good grief nothing compares to that.

On launch there were so many problems you couldn't even get into a queue let alone be in a huge one . It lasted over a week , from entire game and server realm crashes to endless emergency fixes .

Swtor on launch again a miserable week one experience , messy beta code still lingering in the launch preload . urgh what a nightmare.

Its come to be expected that all mmos have log in issues on week one . As sad and unfortunate as it is , no major company will ever buy extra servers leading up to a launch of a new title or expansion for an always online game.

I always plan for a terrible log in experience , since its happened over the last 20 years . Come prepared , have other plans if you intend on playing week one , or wait .

I played WoW at launch in Iraq when I wasn't on mission. This was in 2005.

I had to play at like 2am, when we would come back from mission super dead tired, and I needed to unwind from all of that. So I'd sit in the dark in the corner with my laptop and play for a couple hours when I could (if I could get in).

Maybe that experience just put things into perspective for me or something, I don't know....but ever since then, and dealing with not even being able to play on some days because of the game's issues, I've learned to chill out quite a bit when online games launch. There are always issues. Doesn't matter if they planned years in advance, or realized it was an issue after the fact. Look at New World. Amazon has AWS, and they STILL ran head first into issues at launch.

That's why I don't see the sense in pitch-forking SE. They know it's an issue, and as a business who has been through some rough times (1.0), probably don't want to lose people like that again. They'll fix it. Screaming at them isn't going to make it magically go faster. Were the servers a problem before? Sure. But being a Japanese game that caters mostly to the Japanese audience (which is fine, it's a JP made game), they probably weren't expecting WoW to crap its own bed. Lol. Even people over here in the US didn't see Blizzard shooting themselves in the face (I didn't).

So you just have a knack for the dramatic and wanted to partake in the drama that could have easily been avoided by empathizing or keeping quite. I get it, knack for drama, no better than many of the forum posters on other MMO's that we so chastise.

Just saw the WoW part of the response above, I should have guessed the mentality even before you wrote your responses.
