The infrastructure in JP is significantly more advanced than anything in the EU or NA, so it's not a surprise at all that they have less issues on their end.If anyone ever has been to Japan for a longer period of time and used ther IT infrastructure - you might have noticed vastly superior internet connection speeds and quality of service. I can not say anything in regards to the Japanese Datacenters, but the internet in the country is very, very good. Besides, I actually assume that a lot of players are going to live rather close to the servers themselves due to a large portion in Japan already leaving in the greater Tokyo area (thats roughly 60mil people I talk of that possibly are capeable of having single digit latency to the servers).
If EU OR NA have bad servers, that is an issue in itsself and will not be fixed by people trying to crashland on JP servers. I mean you won't stay there anyway. Don't waste your time.
The problem is that the matter of communication - and the preference for certain channels over others that arises as a result - inevitably and invariably leads to preferential treatment regardless of intent. It means you're going there to get feedback first and fastest, and that leads inevitably to anchoring, one of the more difficult cognitive biases to overcome.
The truth is that the experience of playing on NA or EU is different, in both subtle and overt ways, and not something that metrics and the occasional casual visit alone can articulate - and that means that if equal treatment is the goal, there needs to be a voice at the high table representing our interests and our experiences first and foremost. By all accounts and all communication that we've had before, that doesn't seem to be the case.

Eh I wouldn't worry too much about it. I'm an Asian living in the US (has been for 20 years) and I can tell you one thing: people here loves projecting - hard. Like, someone talk to a few people on discord about how they find the Hyur female is odd. That same person gonna go to this forum and make a thread title "WHY DOES EVERYONE HATE HYUR FEMALE?". I don't know how it's going on the Japanese forum, but I can tell you the majority of stuffs posted on this forum are basically individual projecting their personal view as if it's majority.
The problem lies in the people that come to these NA forums. Not all people but some. There are the conspiracy theorists, the right fighters, those that feel entitled, the lone wolves, even those that troll. Then their is those with a little bit more common sense, that respect what they say and how they present it on the forums. It's like two sides battle against the middle. We all agree what the issues are, but people just always feel the need to blame something or somebody.
What you said makes perfect sense to me and I agree, people shouldn't be shifting blame when the bases for the blame is further from the truth.
Disturbing trends:
Forum moderation has gotten worse over the years , despite my admiration for the game , I find the lack of active moderation of this forum appalling.
New accounts flocking into the forum to decry the game and its newly launched expansion is an abysmal failure and baiting with WoW this , New world that , sounds to me like one or more competitors are using marketing services to sow dissent into the ranks.

I don't think most players blame the Japanese community.
Some are frustrated, others are trolls trying to get a reaction.
I'm just a bit disappointed in Square Enix as the server issues are known for a while now. :c
And a perfect example slithers through the door.

Sounds paranoid but a lot of companies do use negative accounts to spread dissent. Probably the most obvious case is astro turfing on Reddit with all its bots. Usually these forums are pretty reasonable, even Raubahn wasn't like this. The vitriol does remind me of the WoW forums though so I wouldn't be surprised if it's some of that attitude coming in. The worst before this was probably when they made every white mage mad in Stormblood lolDisturbing trends:

Yes yes they do . EA had teams in their UK and Europe offices doing it during the lead up to and launch of SWTOR , both positive shilling on their own forum, and negative on a competitors forum and in game. You would be stunned how many game licences they burn through just to do this (because they get banned naturally for trolling, incitement) , especially considering that typically 10-20 grand blown on competitors game accounts is naff all compared to the hundreds of thousands and more they blow on advertising and paying off journalists or publications.Sounds paranoid but a lot of companies do use negative accounts to spread dissent. i don't think it's a trend iv'e only seen one or two posts from the thousands about this .
also in my opinion this statement is false and true at the same time , i mean you can't blame them when you see the difference between the English and Japanese forums , and yes i am guilty too ..
also i think from what i am seeing on the Japanese forums they understand some stuff can't be changed so they will only request simple stuff like emotes or simple system changes .
and ofc it's a Japanese game i would do the same thing if i were in their shoes , my country first > others .. especially with the tone we use here on the english forums demanding and whining .. which again i am guilty with that too lol![]()
