It just goes in line with them creating an Oceania server cluster

SE announced those servers early this year which means they began working on them last year which was long before the population of the game suddenly exploded this year. There is no conspiracy. Just unfortunate timing with a pandemic, an industry-wide hardware shortage, and a sudden massive surge in player population all happening at the same time. SE can't even repurpose those Oceanic servers for NA because they're literally located in the wrong part of the world.

A lot of AUS players are on NA. Not just JP. I even met one in EU.

Babysitting the queue sucks. We all hate it. But just because the situation isn't good and there is no easy way out of it doesn't mean there is some conspiracy behind it...sigh.
