In regards to Guydelot's statement: Hi! I wondered about this as well, but thought it might be the intention of the localization team (if even subconsciously) to show that a melody might not only come from a "where", but also a "who" or a "what" or a "when", etc. If this were the case, the bard might actually have said "no matter it's from" using "from" as a location or an adjective. Lol--I might, however, be overthinking it...
