Appreciate it! That's the beauty of an open discussion. It's a distinct possibility that "fixing" the 2002's would cause some kind of harm we're not foreseeing, and with how hodgepodged the login servers are I really wouldn't discount that at all.I’m of a mind that they’ve not fixed it because it would break something else - typically what I’m thinking when there’s something that if they don’t fix it they’re liable to get raked over the coals for it.
You’re valid though, I apologize for not being able to see the overall point you were making and just going based off of what I thought I was reading

I remember reading that they’d taken some of their development servers to add to the log in servers, and it wouldn’t surprise me if their server racks were full of old equipment with new equipment with something from their moms basement all taped together with duct tape and run with hamsters.

The OCE data center was scheduled for February-ish.
That's the earliest we'll see any new worlds.

Anyone who's played mmos for a good amount of years has generally learned to accept that massive queues during an expansion launch are to be expected and if you're a very incredibly casual player that you might need to take a break for a month. Coupled with the mass migration from WoW just 4 months before launch it was more than to be expected. I don't like it either but what do you want them to do? Start booting people who have level 90 characters or something?

Just upset and frustrated with a great game and SE is not even taking care of the problem and they STILL GETTING PAID!
