Bar setup: One thing FF needs to borrow from WoW..

In Wow, if you mouse over an item in your spellbook (Actions & Traits), it shows text in the tooltip saying it's not in your bars yet if it isn't.
Also, if it IS on your bars, it highlights that item in the bar with a pulsing yellow surround.

It's a pain having to set up my gathering bars after all the changes without a feature like this.

I agree, that's pretty cool. I'd like a button in Actions & Traits that highlights any actions I haven't set in case I happen to accidentally drop one off while rearranging keybinds.

I'd settle for it somehow marking the ones we actually have access to at our current level. There's nothing wrong with having a place to look up every single piece of information about the abilities and traits, obviously, but it should be way easier to tell when something has been upgraded via a trait than it currently is. Mostly for the things that get overhauled, like SMN this time, AST last time, crafters and gatherers all the time....

That would be a nice QOL improvement. And if they could add something about "This spell appears as X spell after level Y" so that you don't have the same spell there in 2-3 spots depending on how it changes as you level.
