There probably is a point they could offer enough to make it worthwhile to the provider to ruin their credibility by selling SE the servers instead of the other customers waiting in line, but that point is probably astronomically high. There are none to be had for even unreasonable prices.

My tinfoil theory is that Blizzard or some other gaming company preemptively bought server space to sabotage SE when Endwalker was announced. Maybe Amazon thought it would give New World a fighting chance lol. Maybe Google wanted to force XIV to switch to Stadia. Somebody get Aaron Sorkin to write a drama, it will win all the Oscars.

I had that happen the other day took 10 trys or so to get in. Has to do with too many instances open on your server i believe. Keep pressing enter eventually you get in.

Last time thats happened, people were circumventing the afk timer and hiding in their houses to not get teported.
