Multi platform multi account question...

I have FFXIV paid for on my Windows PC, Windows Laptop, and on PS4, and I also paid for the PS4 option of an "Additional Service Account".

My son would like to play. I purchased the "additional service account" option on the ps4 thinking it would allow him to play on the PS4, but apparently I was wrong.

What exactly do I need to do to set up an account for my son, and allow him to play on our PS4?

If you have multiple service accounts, you choose which one to play on when you select which data center to connect to. If you just click Start it will assume the last data center and service account that you played with. Instead, click Data Center and choose your data center, then before taking you to character select it should give you an option to choose between the two service accounts.

Thanks Rongway, I'm still really lost though. I can't figure out how to link the "additional service account" option on the PS4 to a second account. Or maybe I just bought the wrong thing?

From my understanding the ps4 attaches the service account directly to the psn account. You may want to create a new login profile for your son with his own psn account and try that.
