    To be fair PvP is very unique content compared to everything else. Closest thing to PvP was Ishgard restoration where you competed against other players and that also featured timed rewards that only X amount could obtain. Its clear that PvP was designed for the competitive players and considering WoW was one of the inspirations for XIV the reward system feels similar to it with the seasonal rewards.

    The rewards outside the top 100 were very lacking and weren't enough to bring more people into the mode. The fact that you could spend alot of time into a season and walk away with 7/10th's of a weapon glamour is very underwhelming
