Improving character creator & updating it

As it stands, character creator is outdated & it shows. The lighting is misleading even with the different environments (but it's not something to really fret over). The hair and make-up colors aren't vivid and vary from race to race. Make-up and face-paint options need an update to color and have optional lipstick without gloss.

Give Viera Access to more hats (like Matoya's witch hat, since it is a bonus paid for item)

The design team should add more hairstyles that NPCs have. People are always asking for them, there are many megathreads that have gone on for months if not years that show continuous support for adding Hilda's hairstyle or Hien, Emet-Selch and Cid's hair or Lyse's hairstyle just to name a few. It would be a breath of fresh air if the design team would finally start listening. Add more NPC hairstyles for player use.

Hairstyles should also be adjusted to fit the races better- if there are ear gaps due to the hair being on a human race, these should be covered for Viera and Miqo'te
It feels very out of touch when they added random hairstyles to Viera, instead of all of the paid for mogstation hairstyles first. (adding paid for hairstyles to me is common sense) There is a megathread ongoing that is sharing a massive distrust and distaste for this decision.

They mention fairly often that "technical limitations" are preventing them from adding features that people request. So, work out those limitations. Bring the game up to at least PS4 standards. Hell, I'd say go straight to PS5 standards, if the PS5 was actually widely available at retail, but that problem isn't really on the FFXIV team.

Also adding my voice to the calls for expanded character customization. And throwing in a call for more color options for hair and makeup. All of our current options tend to be kinda muted. Give us some really vivid shades to play with. Yes, some people will intentionally make horribly eye-searing abominations with it, but some people already to that with the current options anyway. Go wild.

And a proper glamour log. And more plates, at least one for each job. Maybe let us add different hair styles to the plates too.
