Obnoxious FC Chest locations.

Hello there, I have a grievance I'd like to try and address.

I don't have many grievances with this game, moreover ones that I'd want to try and address by posting on the forums. I want to bring it to SQENIX's attention that for four expansions we haven't gotten a city that has an FC chest. Forcing anyone who would like to access an FC chest who doesn't have a house which we all know is an extremely expensive, time-consuming, and unrealistic goal for the overwhelming majority of players to achieve; to pay full price to teleport to Ul-Dah, Gridania, Limsa Lominsa, or Kugane. Now up until recently, this hasn't been a horribly bad problem with the rates of teleportation being reasonable. As of now with level 2 FC buffs, it's costing 1200 Gil to teleport to and from Old Sharlayan. I'm genuinely not sure if this is an oversight or an intentional design, but it seems a little ridiculous to make the FC chest so arbitrarily inaccessible unless you own an personal, or an FC house. I'm really not sure if I've posted this in the correct forum, if not I apologize, but I just am really looking for an answer as to why every single new city in the game post-ARR Doesn't have an FC chest.

Side note: I'd also like to see an addition of an FC chest in the Firmament, as it has market boards, and summoning bells as well, but that's a 2nd priority to just having one accessible in the primary markets.

I think you can buy GC teleport for seals, something like 2k per one ticket.

For 500k you can get an apartment and place an fc chest that only you can access. Not the perfect solution, but it works the same as you individually going to a town to get into your fc chest at a grand company. Costs the same to tele to that as it would an fc house or house in which ever housing district.

The GC Rank required to buy these seals is quite high, it's First Lieutenant and it's not always the most easily farmable content. Particularly at the higher ranks. First Lieutenant requires you to have A rank 3 adventurer squadron, which is just not very accessible at all.

Yeah, this is still a really high pricepoint to require a player to buy into being able to have access to their own FC Chest, and still returning to Sharlayan costs 1200 Gil per run. You can only return once every 15 mins. The whole point of this is making the FC Chest accessible. I just don't see a reason not to put one in Ishgard/Crystarium/Sharlayan

I didn't even notice this. It seems even more arbitrarily obnoxious knowing that for some reason, that Kugane has an FC chest. The only thing that I can think of is the fact that it has a housing district, and it makes it equally accessible for players who can and can't buy a house. Kugane and Ishgard are Cities from over four years ago. Just make FC chests more accessible for everyone. There's absolutely no reason not to.

Did you read all the posts and responses? I definitely answered this question in my quote replies. From my perspective, it seems to me like you're missing the point. No offense intended. Maybe elaborate on what you mean exactly?

You have 1 free teleport destination and 1 free return every 30 minutes, on top of the 3 (4 if you register for the app) favorite destinations that offer discounted teleportation fees.

Assign Limsa as your free teleport and then use return to teleport back to Old Sharlayan. Doesn't this suffice?

That would mean that the player would have to go drastic lengths to get to one.
You simply have to TP to a town and then walk/run/aetheryte to get to one.
it's not inaccessible by any means.

You can:

1. Register a Reduced Rate destination at the place you access your FC chest from (click the main aetheryte and it should be below Set Home Point; edit, it's called Register Favoured Destination).
2. Perhaps use Reduced Rates FC buffs.
3. Sorry if I didn't see this in previous responses - if your FC has a home go to the Travel menu button -> Teleport -> Free Company Estate whose teleport is quite cheap. Probably could put the chest there.
4. Use aetheryte tickets. You can get those for GC Seals (2,000) or with Recruit a Friend (RAF gives 99). One of the level 40-50 weekly Squadron missions give Priority Aetheryte Passes if you succeed which reduces teleportation costs.
