Deleted E-Mail With EW Pre-Order Key and Link. Am I Screwed?

Im asking this for a friend because he doesnt have a forum account and doesnt want to make one. He bought the Windows Client version of EW(Steam not involved at all) under a guest account instead of logging in and he deleted the email he got(he legit deleted every single email he had some time ago, over 40k+) for whatever reason. He already has a Square Enix store account with the same e-mail address, and the account shows no purchase history whatsoever, so they arent linked at all. One of the e-mails he deleted contained the original EW Early Access game key along with Im guessing a link to take him to the full access key. He hasnt been able to login at all or play the game since Early Access ended, and he can't get the code because he deleted the E-Mail. Is he just screwed and has to buy the game again if he wants to play Endwalker? Only other option would be to make a support ticket.
