Hmmm... Connectivity seems to be getting worse. Again, I have nothing else connecting to the internet, and yet when I try to connect to the data center it's immediately crashing out with the 2002. Not even getting to the queue.

I still wonder if mods are afraid to do anything in the forums ever since the controversies of excessive moderation from several years ago. Since there are a lot of new people, I'm not sure people remember, but basically people got banned too frequently, and it caused some significant backlash.
I'm not exactly happy with this comment. Just trying to help out, and as usual people on the forums are.. a mess. It's like we can't get anything done around here without trying to sabotage one another. It's so weird that people go "omg they just want attention on PUBLIC forum". It's a literal post. With views. Replies. And upvotes.
Sadly it hasn't been happening enough. The front page is still flooded. I think people are too frustrated to bother finding the megathread. Maybe if we comment a couple times it will finally catch on.
It looks like SE has a bit outdated(or at least incapable of population influx from other games) server infrastructure, considering they have even hardcoded 15 minutes timeout into client side. As far as I remember, they are not yet trying out those AWS or other cloud server services yet. Maybe it's time to invest into those options? If SE's intention is not giving out any more compensation, maybe invest on those cloud infrastructure then reduce the portion of cloud infrastructure when the rush period seems to be passed.
Of course, those cloud services would charge a lot up front since it's an emergency purchase. But the EW hype hasn't completely dwindled yet and the dinosaur of MMO is still crumbling. It's the best way to invest more to obtain loyal customers who have track record keep returning to their favorite game for more than 10 years.
I know there's some grudges on Korean companies Japanese people has. To be bluntly: Panasonic+Sony+all the other Japanese tech <<<<<< Samsung Electronics these days. But you need to learn from the competition. LostArk is a Korean title and they are doing extremely good in their domestic market as well.

I agree strongly with this. I want to see the packet loss issues with the queue resolved in the meantime while we are waiting for servers. I honestly have no doubt that in time we will get new worlds on every server, as well as new Data Centers for all regions. Although I don't see new Data Centers happening as soon as new worlds. A couple new worlds per Data Center would be a lot faster to implement first. I think they should extend each Data Center by at least three servers. NA needs it bad, but I would hope that EU would get them as well. EU is in a tough state too from what I have heard. It looks like SE has a bit outdated(or at least incapable of population influx from other games) server infrastructure, considering they have even hardcoded 15 minutes timeout into client side.
