Summoners already getting blacklisted from groups

It's already begun. I have seen multiple groups advertising no summoners on the current ex trials or just outright kicking them when they join due to ifrit and titan making encounters so much harder.

Square Enix really needs to add a way to adjust summoners visuals on an individual player level or by the time savage raids and ultimate come out summoners are going to he completely removed from the scene due to their screen wide obscurity.

Pet size all small only works if the summoner himself does it and it does not adjust the visuals at all.

Contrariwise, as a Summoner enjoying the full extent of my max size summons and my *own* spell effects I have no interest in running with groups who are unaware that they can turn off any and all effects they like and that it's their job to adjust the size of summons on their own screen, not mine. This is basic information to anyone who bothered to read the patch notes.

It's more the issue is all or nothing. I dont want to remove all visuals simply because one class completely obscures the screen constantly, I'd rather just not invite the class. I'm seeing it start to happen alot in PF already and we are not even into hard content yet

The Limited Spell Effects for party members doesn't seem to work on the level 90 summons. Also god help your ability to see mechanics with max size summons.

guys read the patch notes. you have to do it yourself as it's client side not server side.

The problem is mostly that this is NOT a well advertised feature, at all, in any point in game. And if you didn't read the entirety of a multi-page patch notes, you wouldn't know about this feature. It's a serious problem.

This is 100% incorrect, tested it with a friend in game just last night. I have pet sizes set to small, he hadn't changed them. He saw my level 90 summons as full sized while I did not.

It's not the summoner's fault if people forgot about a feature that's been in the game for a good four years now.

It doesnt adjust the size of the screen blinding apes though just the primal itaelf

That’s correct. This feature is a client side adjustment. The change only affect your experience with other summoners.
