You guys know that maybe a static of say 6 ppl just lookin for 2 to farm might not want a 2nd mage in the group because it conflicts with the drops team mates might receive right? Right!? Get over yourselves SMN is awesome start your own party do some work , make a team don’t lay down and cry when things don’t go your way.
I've cleared both EX's with my summoner in my static with max pet size and all spell effects
It's not that bad for me, we've cleared multiple times and are still farming for the dang cats. Never once did I think "Dang, if only these spell effects that I have complete control over weren't making me play worse by hiding mechanics."
But, even if it was, I could just make the summons smaller or turn down spell effects. This was put in specifically for this exact issue and has been in since Bahamut's introduction and the game's launch respectively.
If you see party finders blacklisting summoners because of spell effects, I have a sneaking suspicion that's just an scrub excuse as to why they fail mechanics and would probably fail no matter what.
Curing Waltz is old and busted. The new hotness is Benediction Boogie. Make it happen, Squeenix!

Pet size scaling is client side. That means you. You put the command in send it adjusts thr size of the primals on your screen only.

There was a group where I actually asked if they want me to change pet size, and they told me that even if I did its only on my side. They need to adjust it for themselves.![]()

Sauce, OP? I’d love to see where people are actively denying SMNs, especially considering petsize is client side.

Now you're sealioning.
Think about their hypothetical made-up person that doesn't know about the petsize command. They're probably the hypothetical person making the hypothetical party finder that hypothetically bans Summoners.

Limit spell effects on other party members need to affect summons. Problem solved. That would make it so where you cant even see their summons.
Idk if it’s hyperbole but I’m 100% sure you can disable effects
