That quote of yours does not 100% Directly Blame peoples Internet connections. But suggests that Internet Connections also effect the issue.
Client resets are also a result of Packet Loss if Im remembering that correctly, which is also effected by your internet .
So its not a Complete BLAME of my internet or your internet or somebody else internet.

To be fair, it says "Most of the reports we have received", which is a distinction I personally wouldn't make if the situation is not definitive. Probably would've stuck with "some".

I don't think it's malicious but it's definitely something that can easily be misconstrued!

We get the exact same 5006 and 2002 errors every expansion. They've closed the client instead of reconnecting every time. The queue itself has never been this bad before, but the errors and the bad software design have always been there.

They only feel like they have to respond to it because the interest is so high that they're getting killed in the media about it this time.

But yes, either way it's all the same. Kinda surprised they're not giving more updates on the situation, just to at least sound like they're doing something or making progress somewhere. Even if it's just "far as we can tell, everything's running as intended."

Someone on reddit was nice enough to do a full technical analysis of the cause of the 2002 error and JUST LIKE everyone has been saying.

The server is resetting you client every 15 minutes and if it desyncs during this client reset it crashes the client.

This has nothing to do with your internet but an internal server side check done once that causes you client to crash.

Fix this now and stop blaming your consumers for internal coding issues.

Actually, that is a more fair angle. Many people pointed out when we had problems the previous times that they probably don't want to spend time figuring out how to fix them because they'd all be gone in a week or two. It's just annoying that if they had paid them attention when they were brought up in the past we wouldn't be having nearly the same level of frustration now that it's also really busy.

I'd wager if I had to guess if a random redditor is correct, or YP, based on my personal experience, I'd go with YP ten times out of ten.

Yes it would be, and SE did touched on both the reset thing and packet loss. They said packet loss has been the bigger cause.

The claim being made is that 2002 is caused by the servers and has nothing to do with user connections.

However various anecdotes show that users with strong connections to the servers don't get 2002. I'm one of them.

This would support the "user connection" issue.

The queue may well be forcing a refresh every 15 minutes, but if you have a good connection to the servers then that refresh won't cause a 2002.
