    Error 90002 and massive queues

    Ever since the supposed fix patch last Tuesday I have been getting random lag spikes that then lead to an error 90002 disconnect. I got through the entire msq prior without this issue. Normally it wouldn't be too bad but with the queues I am screwed once disconnected. In so doing this makes the game unplayable for me and it's veru frustrating to say the least. I love Endwalker so much and just want to be able to play it. Please fix the game

    Having this exact issue. Weirdly enough it only seems to be happening to me on my PC, as my wife has been able to play on our PS5 with no issues. I've tried just about everything within my power to resolve this too, from reinstalling drivers to using a VPN, to almost no avail. For what it's worth I'm forced to use wireless since our Access point is locked in a plastic box with a security bolt, but our internet is surprisingly fast for what it is, able to support me and my wife playing at the exact same time, and it was never an issue until last week. We've even played together during this period where I'd suddenly disconnect and she'd be completely fine, able to play all night without running into issues. We ran Tower of Babil together and I dc'd twice while she played through the whole dungeon unscathed, which is so so so strange. I've tested other games too and I don't get the lag or disconnect issues on any other game, JUST FFXIV. Why would it be affecting only my PC, and only one game on it? Gotta be server-side, or some node along the way.
    I can't clear the first trial because I always get disconnected before we get over halfway in. It's a really cool trial and I just wanna beat it!!!

    Confirming this situation. It has happened so often to me. It didn't happen before. Lag spikes are massive on dungeons, raids and even in Golden Saucer. Disconnects happen several times during the day.

    I get these and then massive 2002 errors in the process of trying to log back in. And unfortunately the game doesn't respond fast enough to save my spot in the que causing me to be at the end every time with each time the line getting longer.

    Does the issue occur at a specific time frame/interval or day?: Nope! It's been all hours since last Monday
    Does it occur with a specific character or all characters?: All characters. At first I thought this was specifically an issue I was having with Primal, as ping drops seemed to only be happening there, but I was booted from my Aether character after about 15 minutes while testing her.
    Does it occur in a specific area or instance in the game?: It occurs pretty much everywhere regardless of where I am.
    Internet Service Provider: Maxxsouth Broadband
    I should add that I've noticed other people on the forum pointing this out (rather aggressively, unfortunately), but the request time outs seem to happen on one of the later nodes whenever I tracert the server. If it were closer to my end, my wife would get disconnections too, so I think this is specifically the route my PC is taking. I don't know what's so special about the PS5 that keeps its connection stable, but I have definitely considered getting a PS5 license just to get through Endwalker (at the cost of getting to run content with my wife )

    Does the issue occur at a specific time frame/interval or day?: Constant 90006, all within 5-10min of each other then 2002. It has happened today only starting at approx. 8:30AM PST but it's constant and I am unable to do anything in game today without being disconnected.
    Does it occur with a specific character or all characters?: I've only been on my main this morning.
    Does it occur in a specific area or instance in the game?: No, it happens no matter where I am.
    Internet Service Provider: Xfinity
    Additional Notes: I thought there was a fix put in earlier this morning but I've had nothing but DC issues today. Also, Aether/Sargatanas is having issues as well. My main is on Primal/Excalibur.

    The issues at least on my end are definetly not with my internet provider or connection. The Issue is -always- the last few NTT nodes just before the datacenter(as well as packet loss between the login server and the server itself). There are a myriad of threads and proof on the forums that there are constant issues with NTT. Square Enix needs to contact them and pressure them to figure out what is wrong.

    I just wanted to circle back on this thread... Have anyone's issues been resolved since the patch? I caved and bought a PS5 license last week and have been playing perfectly since, but I know I will need to return to my PC if I want to do raid stuff with my wife and FC and want to be sure things are (mostly) resolved before I attempt to connect and potentially get booted into a queue mid-raid.

    like 2 days ago problems started again, dear SE: can you please fix game client to allow reconnection instead of logout character and put ppl to login queue (2-3k ppl)?
