    Another one.. haters hate it is what it is

    So Ive been a sub since Heavensward. Never dropped a sub, always supported. If you anyone wants Im happy to share pic.

    Im a worker a father with limited time. Yes Yes you have read this many times before by now. I dont care. Its just another voice. I feel I have to express it.

    Ive always bought the pre expansions things, some bumps on the road, who here remembers Raubahn Ex or Pipin EX? xD

    Im a supporter of FFXIV, great great MMORPG, but my problem is very simple.

    I cant play it. I cant play it... My life doesnt allow me to be in queue for 4 hours so then I can go in. Plus when it happens, it gets me in a bad mood.. waiting 4 hours to get inside? by the time im inside im super frustrated and not in the right spirited to follow a heavy narrative mmorpg that I would LOVE to experience, read every dialogue, fully immerse myself.. if I could just play it.

    So SE just a simple costumer saying that most probably since I started my continued nonestop sub since Heavenward I prob will stop it. Until I can log in with a normal less than 500 ppl queue.

    I dont want to, but the truth is I simple cant play your game. I cant log in on my allocated gametime.

    No one should hate on you posting this. It's you exercising your voice as a customer that's been sold an unsatisfactory product/experience. I'm personally tired of people on this forum crying about people like yourself being unhappy. The community needs to be heard and the volume of their dissatisfaction needs to be noted. That's the only way the requisite motivation for a fix gets implemented.

    Agreed. If there was a way to pause subscriptions for people who can only play in prime time, until either the population stabilizes or they can get the OCE data center online, that would be ideal as well. But a lot of folks are locked into six months subscriptions, and there is no way to put it on hold.

    For those who do pay monthly, though, unsubbing is not a bad idea. SE announced that they suspended housing demolition in lieu of the login issues, so that's one less thing to worry about.

    OP, you're right, and many share your frustrations. I too am trying to figure out what to do with the game at this point. I've only been able to play because my work does not require a 9-5 schedule, but the long queues, the repeated 2002 errors, being kicked back to the end of the line, all of that has taken its toll. It's 9 PM my time now, on a Sunday evening, so far I've been able to stay logged in only for 40 minutes or so, again after a long, long wait starting from early afternoon today.

    I might do what others have recommended here: unsub for a month or so, until the queues have subsided, the drop-off errors fixed. It's a shame. I might resub to WoW during that time, and I cringe at the thought. But I'll have to do something, it's just too frustrating to continue hoping day after day that FF14 will get better, and that I can access the content I've paid for fair and square.

    I've been getting 20002 for the past 2 hours straight, I can't get anywhere near through the queue.

    Don't tell me it's my network either - I have 350 MBPs or higher consistently and suffer no latency issues.

    Speed doesn't mean anything for online gaming. It's the packet loss and jitter which defines the quality. You can have very quick but with a lot of packet loss making it bad. Just saying.

    The mailman is not good if he drops some letters on the way and those letters might contain critical information.

    When they say it's not them, and its your end...they don't mean your internet speed specifically but how the provider is routed to reach their servers.
