I completely agree those should be in the game. I believe you're even told, they ARE Gunblades, just "inferior copies of the real thing". And since Gaius clearly isn't using that armor anymore (or its gold variation), I say just pop that up on the Mog Station.

Absolutely! They may be inferior but I’ve seen weapons that aren’t THAT deadly to begin with, like the Boken from the Gold Saucer, which is literally a wooden sword.. And yes, let’s hope we get Gaius’s armour or even just the centurion and imperial guards ones.

I dont really see a need for a Petition on this lol, if you've played Endwalker -SPOILER- .....you are working WITH the Garleans now. So there is potential that Armor will become accessible at some point.
Plus they've given us 2 sets of Imperial Armor before, I see no reason they wont do more.

But yeah, that Armor is pretty sexy, Id love to be able to glam it in the future

Lorewise it wouldn't make sense since it's a different type of weapon from what we use, but it is unimaginably cruel to not give us a version of it considering it still looks better than every available GNB weapon. Garleans are no longer our enemies and you can just say Cid tweaked it for our use so there are no valid excuses anymore.

Indeed it is! Even the Garlean gunblade stance looks so elegant compared to the Gunbreaker one. Never really liked how the gunblade is on one’s shoulder but that’s just me. But yes, I believe it’s time we got these items since the Garleans are no longer our enemies.
