Adding Garlean Gunblade & Glam in the Game

I am trying to collect the level 83 gear, but are there other good Garlemald glamours in game right now?

Are there artbooks out on Garlemald mech and airships? I want to know more about their tech (like schematics in sci fi series).

There is, sort of. There's the repaired Garlean soldier's robe and helmet from the ARR main storyline (the one you used as a disguise to get into Castrum Centri), and a Far Eastern variation also gained during the main scenario in SB, plus the Bozjan Resistance gear (the 'Law' gear) is specifically Garlean, but they take their design cues from the Judges from FFXII. The starting gunblade for GNB is also vaguely Garlean in design, but has been adapted for the specific requirements of GNB, which differs from the Garlean version (the gun barrel is detached from the gunblade's muzzle).

As for artbooks, all the artbooks available include the designs for armour, technology and yes the airships too, so they're well worth investing in (for a start, look into the ARR artbook The Art of Eorzea ~ Another Dawn). There isn't yet an artbook for EW though sadly (other than the abridged one that came with the EW physical collector's edition, that is hard to find), but that probably won't be for very long.

That is a very nice set! I’m using the maiming one for my Reaper since it’s a Garlean job.

As for the current Garlean sets, Enkidoh just mentioned them above.

Thank you for your suggestions. I really like the officer clothes that are not armor plated although they are both nice to see. I will look into those artbooks.

Absolutely! The Garlean gunblade is also nice. In the Q&A I also asked Yoshi-P to add the Garlean lab coat. It looks very chic.

So I was doing Ala Mhigo the other day and I stopped by to appreciate this imperial centurion’s glam. (He whacked the hell out of me whilst taking this pic).

I really like how long his gunblade is. Would be great if we get it for GNB & PLD.

Hi again. If you look at Regula’s stance after every swing he does, he switches to either the DRK stance or his own (Garlean) stance.
