Servers are going to be fine in Endwalker? pure copium

Server stability is going down on NA. Many raiders have noticed more stuttering, more lag spikes, and the servers have crashed twice in one day just recently. During the influx when Asmongold started playing, the servers were also extremely unstable. Let's be real here - Endwalker server stability will be horrible. We might not reach Raubahn Ex levels of unplayability, but it wouldn't be a smooth ride either. There are some players that are on copium thinking the servers will be butter smooth. I do not know how they reached such a conclusion!!

Anyone who wakes up at the witching hour for MMO launches knows that instability and other shenanigans are part of the fun. Smooth MMO launches are almost unheard of, SHB launch was probably the cleanest major mmo launch I've ever seen.

That said, I have zero doubt that EW launch is going to be a little messy given the unique circumstances. Sitting in discord at 4 am comparing queue numbers with friends is basically tradition and I look forward to it either way.

Pretty sure much of the current issues are NA ISPs being NA ISPs.

That's how they do things. They re-post topics that already exist but in a way that attempts to get people arguing, hence the dog-whistling about Asmongold and hardcore raiders. It's nothing new, just like server issues aren't anything new upon game/expansion release.

With covid locking alot peeps to be gamer life and lack resource for servers or other computer parts due to covid. I'm sure SE will find a way to not crash the servers with influx players. ShB was the proof of awesome early access. However, the reputation of a scuff release could hit SE if they don't pay attention. It's important to hit the not scuff release. This is why SE delay the expansion for better servers and equipements on EA.
