Good point... and also, why use Waste Not II if it only covers 4 steps of 20durab actions? Could have used Waste Not instead and save like ~50 CP. Although if one moves Innovation up, then Waste Not would not be able to cover all 4 steps of Prep Touches.

So I basically substituted WN2 with WN1, and it still works fine. CP now cost only 496.Hey folks,
Quickly wanted to share my macro for anyone levelling crafts or crafting 90 gear for income.
It probably overshoots quality a bit but it's an easy enough 1 button macro you can use from 80-90, then add the additional line in the second to use at 90 until the new recipes come out.

I'm happy to share my macros too, which have extremely low CP requirements.

I've always been skeptical of macros especially for crafting but this works so i'll use it for now. Thanks.
My L90 40 durability production macro:
/ac "Reflect" <wait.3>
/ac "Manipulation" <wait.2>
/ac "Waste Not" <wait.2>
/ac "Delicate Synthesis" <wait.3>

/ac "Advanced Touch" <wait.3>
/ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
/ac "Byregot's Blessing" <wait.3>
/ac Groundwork
11 steps. CPs are almost irrelevant.
This thread helped me and my buddy so much with the new rotation changes since EW and 6.1, but we're both still struggling with Grade 4 Ishgard Restoration Collectibles (trying to get Skybuilder scrips for the mounts). haven't found any guides or Threads that actually have updated rotations/macros for new Ishgard stuff. any help would be hugely appreciated!
The big question is what are your stats? This thread helped me and my buddy so much with the new rotation changes since EW and 6.1, but we're both still struggling with Grade 4 Ishgard Restoration Collectibles (trying to get Skybuilder scrips for the mounts). haven't found any guides or Threads that actually have updated rotations/macros for new Ishgard stuff. any help would be hugely appreciated!
At lvl 80 with no buffs I have 2683 Craftsmanship, 2667 Control, and 545 CP. I have the entire HQ Aesthete's set for all crafters and each piece aside from main and off hands are PentaMelded.
Edit: I also want to clarify that we are struggling with the Green Artisanal recipes with 55 Durability, the regular lvl 80 recipes don't give me trouble.

What you're going after are called "Expert Recipes". They were made to be non-macroable for level 80 crafters. They are called Expert Recipes because they were designed for crafters who are really capable of utilizing every condition that comes at them randomly. So you can't just use an inflexible rotation for Expert Recipes, but you have to keep changing your rotation along the way to cater those conditions that pop up.At lvl 80 with no buffs I have 2683 Craftsmanship, 2667 Control, and 545 CP. I have the entire HQ Aesthete's set for all crafters and each piece aside from main and off hands are PentaMelded.

Now at level 90 in EW, we can macro them quite effectively if you have i590 gear + the most expensive pentamelds. However, I still prefer not to macro these recipes since it's rather silly to pentameld all my mainhand+offhand for this reason when I can easily manual craft them with minimal melds.
If you intend to take on these Expert Recipes at level 80, you can check out my Expert Recipe guide and my general crafting guide.
The following guide was written to help players learn how to do the easiest Expert Recipes, which are the ones for the last step of the Skybuilders' tools. Now that we're in EW, we no longer have Patient Touch, IQ is at most 10, and the numbers for quality and progress had all been changed too. But the way to craft these things remain generally the same. So you can learn the basics of how to tackle Expert Recipes here:
http://ffxivrealm.com/guides/caimie-...ers-tools.201/
The following guide was written for crafting in general. Ch26 lists out the remaining 2 types of Expert Recipes, including the Grade 4 ones you're working on now, as well as the ones for the Resplendent Tools. With the conditions available being slightly different than the Skybuilders' tools' Expert Recipes, the tactic is slightly modified, but the general concept is still the same:
http://ffxivrealm.com/guides/ff14-ad...ie-tsukino.39/
The general concept can be summarized in 2 words here:
BAIT & LEVERAGE
...keep baiting for favorable conditions using Observe or other means... Land your Manip on Pliant... After maxing IQ, keep setting up touch combos that will bait for "Goods", and utilize the "Goods" differently depending on what step you're on with that combo, subsequently causing "leverage" of quality increase.
Avoid:
- Before IQ is maxed, avoid touching at normal condition, because it burns out expensive durability too quickly.
- After IQ is maxed, avoid straight up doing Trained Finesse under Innov, since it provides almost no leverage opportunity.
Hope this helps!
P.S. To be fair, your stats is a bit low for these Expert Recipes. When I was tackling these at lvl 80, I was sitting on 2812 craft, 2783 control, 572 CP (without food or med). So you may wanna acquire a bit more stats before doing these Expert Recipes. Keep in mind CP>Control>Craft. So you're supposed to nearly max out your CP at any given moment in this game.

I don't recommend using the Artisanal recipes if you're only scrip farming to buy the scrip mounts. They aren't worth the additional effort for a relatively small increase to scrip earned. At lvl 80 with no buffs I have 2683 Craftsmanship, 2667 Control, and 545 CP. yeah, we gave up on it and are gonna work towards Artisanal stuff later when we don't wanna go for Scrips.
