If the ONLY complaint you has involves the que than be thankful! I'd far prefer any number of problems with the que over problems with things that actually matter. You know like gameplay, story etc.

The que problems will be easily solved. Problems with the core cannot. So yes all your problems with the que, whichever form it takes, matters little.

Yes. I will sit here and be grateful as 2002 removes me from the queue yet again, and I have to start back over. Again, and again, and again. Queuewalker is certainly a fantastic new expansion ! I'm loving every second of it. Thank you so much for your enlightening post !

Yeah I'm going to chime in again on this issue because it's immensely frustrating. Especially when the queue is 5k+ on my server and I know from experience that takes several hours to complete. I'm not going to sit at my computer and just stare at the countdown for 3 or 4 hours waiting for my turn to play. Instead, I'm going to queue up, crank the volume up, and go downstairs to watch some TV or eat dinner or whatever and when I hear the game music and sounds of people doing things around me, I know I'm finally in. The problem is, that never happens. Because I can't be in the queue more than about 30 minutes without a 2002 error kicking me out. So at this point my options are very limited to actually play the game because if I'm not willing to get up first thing in the morning and log on before there's a queue and then offer human sacrifices to Comcast in the hopes that my connection will remain stable so I don't get kicked out...

Which brings up another great point actually. When you get dropped from the game because an instance server goes down or something silly like a temporary lapse in internet connection, you have to sit through the entire queue again. This has happened to me several times since the launch of Endwalker and it's super frustrating as well. Because you "did your time" and waited in the queue so you could play and then something beyond your control boots you out (sounds a lot like the 2002 error now doesn't it) and you're stuck in the queue again for another 3-4 hours.

So basically at this point unless you're playing in the off-peak times for your server when no one else is awake/playing... Endwalker has become a never-ending loop of waiting to maybe play the game so you can wait to maybe play the game. At the very very least, we need to resolve the 2002 error crap. If you're in the queue, you're in the queue. If your spot in line "comes up" and you aren't actively in the game client ready to connect to the server, then you lost it and you have to start over. If you get into the queue at position 5500 and get kicked out with a 2002 error at position 4000, as long as you log back in and rejoin the queue before spot 4000 is "called" to get into the server, you get. your. spot. back.

If you're internet goes out or you lag out because your ISP had issues that is NOT SEs or your fault. You will simply have to log back in just like everybody else does. Deal with it.

Stop playing the victim and realize that maybe the situation in which you're playing or trying to play in is not the perfect situation. It is your duty to find the best possible scenario.

You keep mising the point. Packages get lost all the time on the internet. That should not cause the login server to be not able to consistently save your spot properly for a little while if you get a 2002 or if you get kicked out of the game.

I get it, this beautiful game has a cool new expansion and as YoshiP has told us countless times, the servers are congested!

Today I thought I was going to be lucky, *only* waited 2 hours when I got down to position 58 in the queue. But no my friends, no! Error 2002-ex crushed my dreams once again! *Spiritbond with ground completed*


BUT you see, that is not really what bothers me the most. When I tried to login again, my queue position was up to over 4000 again.

I mean... how difficult would it be for the login server to *remember* the user's queue position even if error 2002 happens? Reserve their spot for a couple of minutes to give the user a chance to hop back in where they were...

They don't care about your satisfaction, only the appearance of it. They don't care due to the horrendous amounts of white knights who have been foolish enough to play WoW to think that this is great service.

WoW and FFXIV have both been awful off/on. This happens just about every expansion or major release and they definitely knew it would come.
