Eye color change to barber shop please?

It makes no sense not to give it to the barber shop, I know, logically a barber can’t change your eye color, but in this case the functionality for gameplay reasons outweighs the logic IMO.

Most of the times you’d want to change and match the eye color to go with a new hair color, but changing the one for free and the other for 7€ is a joke and an obvious cashgrab. Giving me the option to change the one thing for free (ingame currency means) that directly brings me to a RL paywall as a result of it is not a free change at all.

I mean, even Bli…ard added eye change to the ingame barber.

Or you could just add an item to the Mog Station: “colored contact lenses” for like 1-2€, which lets you change the color one time, but 7€ is just ridiculous, especially in times when people lose their jobs or bankrupt their companies left and right.

Why stop there? They should add everything that isn't race or sex to the aesthetician. Shouldn't need to fantasia every time you wanna mess with some different combinations for your face.

Game is unrealistic but keep the barber realistic in a fantasy world! That‘s what they tell you but the reality is phantasias alone make a shit ton of money. xD I know a lot of people that use phantasias for minor things like eye colour.
Until people stop throwing money at it the aesthetician is not going to get an update.

Final Fantasy XIV has rabbit & cat humanoids, magic of all sorts and the ability to bring the dead back to the life but yeah changing eye colour at a barber is very unrealistic

They never going to change it because that means -10$ usd per fantasia.

You could wear colored lenses I guess.
And I mean the eyebrow change changes your face structure too xD.
It's not very realistic either.

Edit: Also since I like to bring this up whenever people complain about '' muh realism '' when skimpy gear exists ( even if we ignore the fact that the fully covering gear is also not '' realistic '' either ).
Glamour Prisms are canon in the game, they're actually used in the story multiple times especially in Stormblood.

So someone could glam their full plate armor to be invisible or look like swimwear and they'd still be wearing full plate, it's actual canon and completely possible.
I fail to see why this wouldn't be possible with eyes too especially considering what they do in Stormblood, the prisms are pretty powerful and can do some pretty crazy stuff.

I exclusively play female characters so it doesn't affect me really, but I don't see the issue of sex change.
I think that Fantasia should be race change and that's it, I think WoW does this really well and it was good that they changed it imo.

Is it a bit bizarre that you can quite literally change your sex and your entire physical structure like that?
Yeah, but it's a video game and offers the player more freedom.
Race change being paid I can kinda understand and I think that's significantly more drastic on another level.

I've been wanting to choose a more interesting eye color for years, but I don't want to fantasia for it, so this would be nice. That said, if we haven't seen this by now, I don't see them doing this in the future either. It could be because it makes no sense lore-wise, it could be because they want people to buy more fantasias, it could be because some limitation with how the system is built for all we know.
