Casual players locked out of FFXIV for indefinite time!

I was able to buy a PS5 for retail and am still able to empathize with those who can’t.

Just like people who are able to play the game should be able to empathize with those who can’t.

I just don't get why people always try to tie this to empathize
I am talking about the reality fact
Can you get a PS5 or not?
No one can get a PS5 because of chip shortage.
How do you expect SE to get new server that requires much more semicondutors than a PS5?

Square Enix saw the influx of people this year and should have anticipated this. They are at fault. I wish they would have delayed the game to get more server than not being able to play at all.

And if they couldn't get the hardware for another year, would you expect every person to continue paying to repeat Shadowbringers Expert Queue and Nier raids just so you're happy? It's a tough reality - but MMOs that stagnate tend to die off.

Great idea, delay the expansion months maybe a year until they get new servers and let the game stagnate and die in the meantime. They cannot acquire the servers they need and letting a MMO stagnate for that long will be the death of it. It is a hard decision but they are doing what they can.

Delaying it would not do anything because you all would complain about there nothing to do. No matter what they did none of you would be happy.

But the issue people are having isn’t with the queue time, it is the disconnecting that kicks you to the back of the wait list. Even with very good hard wired connection, this is still happening, and it is not our fault.

But I already answered your question with yes. I had an easier time buying a PS5 directly from Sony than I have playing this game since launch.

am I missing something?yes I did suffer like everyone else from the 2002 problem on day 1-2, but after that it became smoother. Im from leviathan too so i usually get 5000-6000 whenever i try to login but for 4days now havnt encountered 2002 and last time i encountered a 2002, server saved my spot. so its really probably your connection
