Maybe you can try using remote desktop or Teamviewer to queue early. Port 3389 is remote desktop, 5938 is Teamviewer. You may need to portforward it to your PC.

Even when in theory there are ways that might circumvent some part of the issue - though not accessible when you are on console and need to be in the home WLAN for it to work - this is still somewhat wrong.
I mean still 2002 persists. Do you expect me to sit during dinner with share play enabled on my phone to push a button every some-minutes? Doesn't this sound wrong?

You’ll have to wait it out… Not much else you can do. Focus on spending quality time doing other things.

Since launch I’ve only been able to log in 2 times during spare moments early in the day when I have maybe 1h I can spare. Impossible to log in the evening after work / after spending a day doing other things. Oh well. Better times will come.

I was able to buy a PS5 for retail and am still able to empathize with those who can’t.

But the issue people are having isn’t with the queue time, it is the disconnecting that kicks you to the back of the wait list. Even with very good hard wired connection, this is still happening, and it is not our fault.

But I already answered your question with yes. I had an easier time buying a PS5 directly from Sony than I have playing this game since launch.
