I wanted to post a thread about the abyssmal queue times, wasted time in queues and my frustration over preordering a game I couldn't play over the Early Access period, but I think that's probably been covered by other people and I won't go on about it - but it is worth mentioning because as a direct result of these long queue times, plenty of players are coming up with work-arounds and ways to circumvent being logged out automatically when AFK.

Obviously third party software is against TOS and should be cracked down on, but there are plenty of ways in-game right now to effectively block being automatically logged out and these should probably be fixed or removed so that selfish players aren't causing the queues to be further extended. I've been told by guild members that having a vendor dialogue box open, being in a cutscene and doing crafting will all bypass the automatic log-out... As a result they and many others are doing these things to stay logged in and actually get to play. Honestly, I don't blame them and if I ever get in today (currently been waiting 3+ hours with still over 2,000 people in queue to clear) I'm considering doing it myself so that my sub doesn't endlessly tick away while I watch a queue box refresh and fail to move a single digit. But I feel like a fix has be issued for these exploits because they are having a direct and negative impact on *everyone's* experience. Tried emailling customer support about queue times and general feedback about the situation at large, and as per usual I was met with an automated response that might as well have been a .JPG of a middle finger and the words "Go screw yourself" in large bold Comic Sans font. I don't expect this to actually get addressed, but I have to hope that someone will actually listen for the sake of my sanity and my continued subscription.
