I'll call them first thing today once they open. If nothing else, I have plenty of experience in dealing with that sort of thing so I should be able to get someone to do something. If SE won't call them, I will.
The: "We're aware of the problem but SE needs to contact us" is ridiculous. They don't need SE's permission to FIX a problem on THEIR end. That'd be like Verizon saying: "We're aware that the internet to the entire town is out, but the mayor has to call us for us to fix it." That makes ZERO sense.
