    You need to remember that not all routing tables are done the same, so before you pipe up about the quality of my network, please make sure to know how the routing works as this was the issue when they fixed it about a year ago. I have done the rebooting, and unfortunately this is not the issue. When this happened before certain areas were able to access just fine as my raid group has people all around the states. When all the tracerts were done it pointed directly to NTT as stated. Square controls who they work with for their servers go through and it is at that step of the routing it has issues. Through my provider which I can see both through the provider side as I work for them as well as the tracert the connection works fine throughout the tracert until it is outside of the providers network and starts going through Square's provider side on the hops. Once it is outside of a provider's network the responsibility lies on the routing table of the company providing the service.

    NTT is requesting a traceroute from SQ Servers to my endpoint... yeah like THAT will happen.

    The issue seems to be ae-1.r24.snjsca04.us.bb.gin.ntt.net <- That is what starts going down when everything goes to absolute shit.

    At this point, flood NTT with tickets about ae-1.r24.snjsca04.us.bb.gin.ntt.net and make them fix it. We have trace routes from all over the US pointing back to that single hop starting the disaster.

    Edit: Everybody that can do WinMTR or pingplot to ae-1.r24.snjsca04.us.bb.gin.ntt.net and post results after 10 minutes please. I want to gather up enough tests to send in.

    This post was in the first thing I posted which is why it was posted in the first place due to the inaccurate data on the 2002 error in the post. Where are we on this as this is server side and not the user side?

    Nah, man. Everyones internet just simultaneously decided to malfunction right after Endwalkers release.

    Obviously this is the case. And it only decides to malfunction with Endwalker -- not any other MMO or game. Obviously this is a modem compatibility issue with FFXIV.

    NTT Probably has a facebook / twitter, I'd suggest maybe trying these routes to see if they respond in a more decent manner in a public setting. SE we're just asking for transparency, saying our internet is the problem is just wrong and you keep sending us that same scripted message everytime, do you have a community manager?

    Also where is the credit that would be given if this still persisted after 7 days? We have been patient so this needs to be pushed out further at this point. I cannot play during the day nor should I be expected to move my schedule to play a game when the services are not working properly throughout the day. That is not a resolve on the issue. I am very frustrated and have a right to be and the candid responses are no longer cutting it, I'm sorry.

    Their response is uh...deflecting at best. The connection is dropped and re-established on the server end every 15 minutes. I don't know if that's leftover jank from 1.0 or what, but I can't think of a reason a login server would need to do that. Furthermore, it's wild that it doesn't try again even once when the connection doesn't re-establish, and then it boots you from the client entirely. It's pretty egregious that they didn't address this once they knew congestion would be an issue.

    We have to queue a long time (usually 3 hours ish at peak hours), babysit that queue because of 2002 errors all this to get slapped by a disconnection message because of gin.ntt packet loss issue. It just doesn't feel worth it anymore. You have every rights to be upset.

    The problem is always at the same spot....

    We are getting close to prime time. I'm going to be fucked on playing again tonight because of this... and there is nothing I can do about it except cancel my sub and walk away, and even then they still have my money for an expansion I can't play, that I pre-ordered and bought a collectors edition so I could have "Early Access" - Ha...joke...
