Realistically, when will the 2002 and que issue be resolved?

Same, but for me I was watching a show on my other monitor and got a little too focused on it and got DC'd, and by the time I noticed and logged back in I got put in a 4500 queue

I really hate how you can't do anything that diverts your attention too much or makes you leave your desk because of the 2002's

i've picked up Minecraft again while I wait, so I can alt tab back over into XIV. Doesn't stop the 2002 though.

I don't care about Yoshi-P's marketing prattle or arguments built around it. I care about the technical side of this issue. Forcibly disconnecting every 15 minutes without a proper reconnect functionality is from a technical standpoint a real mess. And this mess is already in the client for years. And i doubt that they will fix it. I guess, they hope that the new servers will arrive as quick as possible and then the mess will never occur. But it will occur, see Murphy's law.

FFXIV is witnessing the highest server load since operation of the game started. Its difficult atm, its frustrating, its, i know.
There will be days, where things will be back to normal. It'll probably take longer then usual this time around with all the shit that is happening atm.

crossing my fingers. They've been an icon of customer service since XIV started off clunky, but they did an overhaul the likes that are only outdone by No Mans Sky. I'm just hoping things are taken care of soon. I haven't even beaten the realm reborn storyline yet!

I can’t imagine that this is sustainable for months and months, before people have had enough. But maybe a bunch of people quitting is just a drop in the ocean?

Those still getting 2002 errors, I notice y'all are running other programs in the background. Maybe that is contributing to packet loss and facilitating your error. If you read there are two reasons for that error. Yesterday, I sat in a two hour queue and didn't get disconnected once. So things are getting better. Packet loss happens to everyone because we can not control the servers that push the info down the line.
