I have one retainer filled with almost nothing but materia and dyes. We really need somewhere to at least put the latter for how much excessive room they can take up

This is actually a really neat idea. It would give us a place to stash them that isn't a retainer. I wouldn't even mind if once dye was added, the item became irretrievable (what happened with glam dresser v 1.0 until people protested.)
