SGE Shield basic shield has priority over SCH shield no matter what

There are 2 ways in which shields interact in this game:
1: They simply stack
2: If they do not stack and the newly applied shield has a higher value than the previous one, it will overwrite it and otherwise it will fail to apply
However sage now breaks this rule in a really unhealthy ways.
I understand not letting their core shields(Eukrasian Diagnosis/Prognosis) stack with scholar's(Adloquium/Succor), however they do not interact in an equal manner.

Sage's shields simply always overpower scholar's even when the sage's shield is of much lower value,
while even the smallest sage shield will block of any attempt of the scholar to overwrite it with even the most absurd of shield values
These jobs are already by design inefficient to play together but this just makes sage players actively grief scholars and their parties even when not intended in a completely needless manner.
Please change it so that it interacts the same as their own shields do with themselves(only overwrites when the value is higher).

Yes, thank you. I was just about to report this. No matter what level, the SGE will always overwrite SCH's shields. My friend who is level 70 SGE overwrote my level 90 shield and I could not overwrite theirs no matter what even though my heals were higher.

Can confirm, though it's specifically Eukrasian Diagnosis (single target) that has absolute priority. Succor and Eukrasian Prognosis (both AoE) can still overwrite each other normally, like with the old Nocturnal Field. Also, the higher value rule only applies when it's the same buff. Between different ones, even a weak Nocturnal Field or Eukrasian Prognosis can overwrite a much larger Adloquium + Deployment Tactics.

To simplify the problem:

AoE
E.Prognosis over existing Succor = normal overwrite
Succor over existing E.Prognosis = normal overwrite

Single Target
E.Diagnosis over existing Adloquium = normal overwrite
Adloquium over existing E.Diagnosis = Catalyze "has no effect"

By the way, try not to post about Sage on the FFXIV subreddit. Your reddit account looks new, so you probably didn't see it, but I wrote about this exact same issue. Then I tried to encourage prioritizing oGCDs instead of shield spamming for Addersting. Received private message harassment to the point of having to delete my entire account. Fun.
